Brenda will be doing a benefit fund raiser for the Currey Ingram Academy in Nashville on February 19 at 8:00 p.m. Currey Ingram Academy is a K - 12 independent school for students with unique learning styles. The school provides a personalized education for students who may not have been thriving in a traditional school setting due to a learning difference such as dyslexia or other language-processing difficulties. Every student receives a personalized plan and access to robust arts, athletics and social activities. People have moved from more than 26 states and three foreign countries to attend Currey Ingram Academy. This is a cause very near and dear to Brenda. She has been and continues to be involved, and active with the programs, teachers and administrators. She interacts and has developed a keen rapport with the students as well. Not only has Brenda committed to this fund raiser, she will continue to be an advocate of Currey Ingram Academy. For those of you who would like to support her efforts, you may do so by sending a contribution. All will be graciously accepted and no contribution will be considered too small. All donations will be tax-dedutible. A letter documenting your donation will be sent. Because of the volume of response, Brenda will not able to personally respond to each contributor. She will, however, present all gifts to the administration of Currey Ingram Academy on behalf of her friends and fans. Though the benefit will be held Feb. 19, there is no specific deadline. Brenda will gratefully and proudly present the gifts given from your heart at any time. Please send a check or money order – no cash – payable to Currey Ingram Academy to: Sharon Green 306 Elberta St. Nashville, TN 37210 Sharon is a fan and friend of Brenda’s. Brenda has asked her to assist with this project by collecting and keeping a log of donations as they are received.
