She also has a great cookbook, "Hits From The Kitchen". These are her favorite family recipes. She found out one of the recipes had a little mistake in it. Be sure to check out "Brenda's Favorite Caesar Salad"!

BRENDA INDUCTED INTO THE COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME:

Brenda was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame during the CMA Awards show on CBS, Sept. 24, 1997. A tearful Brenda choked back the tears as she made her acceptance speech. To see photos from the awards show and read her speech click here: Hall of Fame

SURPRISE AT COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME:

Visitors to the Country Music Hall of Fame were treated to a special surpise during Fan Fair week on Thursday, June 18, when Brenda showed up to sign autographs for two hours. There was a steady line of fans that wanted her autograph and their picture made with her. Of course, I was in that line too. I got some great pictures and will be sharing them with you very soon.

Another nice surprise was seeing Brenda's oldest daughter, Julie, who stopped by near the end of the autograph session. She's very beautiful with a bubbly personality and the prettiest smile. It is hard to believe she is all grown up with a family of her own.
